Benefits - In addition to gaining appropriate driving licences individuals will have the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship or gain recognised vocational qualifications. Regular Army rates of pay starts at over £17k and increases with experience and promotion. British Army Human Resources Specialist

 

The role of an HR specialist is to provide administrative and financial support to their unit in barracks and whilst deployed on training or operations. Individuals will gain a wide range of useful qualifications as well as have the opportunity for travel around the world and with access to first class sporting and adventure training activities. Adult Volunteers in the MOD Cadet Forces help young people develop their potential and the virtues of good citizenship. The cadet forces are not part of the armed forces recruiting effort. Volunteers aged over 18 are required to teach subjects such as First Aid, Navigation and deliver the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. In addition there are opportunities to teach cadets to learn to shoot competitively, how to fly and sail. No previous experience is necessary just a wish to work with young people. Adult volunteers receive travel expenses and some paid training days. In addition there are opportunities to gain formal qualifications from a driving licence to leadership and management certification at up to masters level.
